PEN World Voices Festival 4/29-5/2
Since 2007, the Center has joined with PEN World Voices, the New York Festival of International Literature, to present events in the context of PEN's on-going commitment to "advance literature, defend free expression, and foster international literary fellowship."

Site-Specific Performance Symposium 5/14-5/16
In recent years, there has been a surge in the use of non-conventional theatre spaces for performance, from empty garages to automobiles, to underground tunnels, to pools and empty warehouses. Since 2006 the Center has presented in collaboration with Bertie Ferdman, a CUNY Ph.D. student in theatre, a symposium on site-specific theatre, providing an exceptional roster of international artists in conversation about the challenges and excitement of site-specific theatre
