Publications for the Theatre
As a publisher, the Center supports and celebrates publishing for the theatre. It has celebrated fifty years of TDR with Richard Schechner and Carol Martin and thirty years of publishing PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art. Among other events, the Center has also presented new anthologies such as New Works from Great Literature by America's Indie Playwrights, a volume assembled by Martin Denton's New York Theatre Experience, Inc.; the New York Theater Review with editor Brook Stowe; as well as New Downtown Now, ten experimental new plays from New York's vibrant downtown theatre scene with editors Mac Wellman and Young Jean Lee.
