Computer Music Lab

The Computer Music Lab (room 3494) is a Macintosh-based facility that can be used for sound synthesis, editing, modulation, and midi sequencing. The principal software includes ProTools, Digital Performer, Metasynth, and Csound. Students wishing to use the lab for compositional projects should take the Electronic Music course offered periodically or arrange with Professor Olan for independent study. The lab can also be used for recording or copying CDs on an as-needed basis. To arrange to make CDs see the Lab's technical assistant.
