The New York City Distance Learning Collaborative seeks to advance the
development and application of distance learning in New York City. An affiliate of
the CUNY Graduate Center, NYCDLC comprises distance learning developers and
practitioners who promote technology-enhanced delivery of information and
training that improve services for New York City residents. The Collaborative's
activities benefit many communities by:
- developing strategic alliances among public, non-profit and private
partners;
- producing projects and programs using distance learning and related
emerging technologies;
- facilitating collaboration within the distance learning community by
increasing awareness of programs, facilities and networks throughout the five
boroughs;
- promoting forums for discussion and analysis of distance learning and
service-delivery applications that benefit the people of New York City.
NYCDLC principals are available to consult on programmatic needs and
priorities to leverage current and planned infrastructure capabilities within public
and non-profit organizations.
