| The Vice President oversees a number of external programs and operations at The Graduate Center:
- CUNY’s diverse University Center operations based administratively at The Graduate Center, including: the CUNY Baccalaureate Program; the School of Professional Studies; the CUNY Honors College; and the Graduate School of Journalism.
- The Continuing Education and Public Programs office, a three-person staff headed by Scott Voorhees that supports the rich array of public programs developed by the GC’s research centers and doctoral programs;
- The City University of New York is undertaking a multi-year, multi million dollar implementation of an ERP system across the university. “ERP” stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. The ERP project’s goal is to implement integrated student, financial aid, financial, human resources, continuing education, and development software systems and procedures in a consistent manner across the University.
- Political lobbying and political relations at the federal, state, and city levels, supported by the Administrative Director of External Programs, Laura Ciavarella-Sanchez
- The Room Reservations office, a two person-staff supervised by Ms. Ciavarella-Sanchez, that books GC space for use by faculty, staff, students, and outside entities.
