Dr. Stephen Brier is the Vice President for Information Technology and External Programs for the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and co-director of the New Media Lab. He is a historian and a member of the doctoral faculty in Urban Education who has published widely in text, video, and various forms of multimedia on issues from U.S. history to the uses of interactive technology to improve teaching and learning.

 
Rosa Rivera, Executive Assistant, Office Manager and Assistant Program Officer for the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy Certificate program. Rosa is a graduate of Brooklyn College. She brings to this position extensive experience in office management, administration, and personnel development. Her work experience includes thirteen years as Admission Services Manager for a conservatory of music and drama.
 
Laura Ciavarella-Sanchez, Director of External Programs, has been at The Graduate Center for 34 years. As Director of External Programs, Laura works with university and non-university projects and programs that require significant collaboration, CUNY-wide, city- and state-wide. She serves as The Graduate Center’s liaison with the CUNY Legislative Action Council and is the lobbying coordinator with state and local governments for the president and vice president. Her experience includes all facets of administration, personnel, budgets (both tax-levy and non tax-levy), and grants, and she supervises The GC’s Room Reservations Office.  
 
Kimon Keramidas, Researcher to the Vice President, is also a student in the PhD Program in Theatre at the Graduate Center. His interests include the political economy of theatre and media, interactive technology and pedagogy, and digital culture. In addition to his research duties, Kimon helps maintain the web sites associated with the Office of the Vice President and helps to administer, develop, and teach workshops in the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy Certificate Program at the Graduate Center.

Myra Doneger, CUNY Office Assistant, comes to Office of the Vice President from the corporate sector. Her experience is in Book Printing and Advertising, where she has been an Office Manager/Sales Assistant and Research and Production Assistant. Myra lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
