ADMINISTRATION

The hub of the city-wide network for the IUCSHA secretariat was the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York. The consortium was directed by Thomas G. Weiss (Bunche Institute Director and Presidential Professor of Political Science, CUNY Graduate Center), and administered by Peter J. Hoffman (Senior Mellon Research Fellow, and Ph.D. Candidate, Political Science, CUNY Graduate Center). Full-fledged members included, The Graduate Center of the City University of New York (Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies, which also serves as the consortium’s secretariat), The New School University (International Center on Migration, Ethnicity, and Citizenship), and New York University (Center on International Cooperation). Columbia University also participated in many of the consortium’s activities, but funds its students directly from other Mellon support.
