Presentations of papers. Each participant will have 25 minutes for the presentation of paper, followed by 20 minutes discussion. Participants should inform the organizer about the audio-visual equipment needed during their presentations. Presentations of papers will be sound recorded for archival purposes. Organizer of the conference is not in the position to provide xeroxing service. FedEx Kinko is located on Madison Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets.

Conference program with abstracts of papers will be printed in early September 2008, and participants should send possible changes in titles and abstracts no later than 15 August 2008.

Conference participation fee: Fee for attending the whole conference is US$ 45; one day fee is US$ 20.. Please, print the Registration Form and mail it with the payment to RCMI before 1 September 2008.

Conference Proceedings. Selected papers presented at the conference (after being reviewed by outside scholars) will be published in Music in Art, journal of the Research Center for Music Iconography, and should reach the editor not later than 1 December 2008. Participants are encouraged to prepare for publication an unabridged version of the paper, rather then submitting the version presented at the conference. Submission should be accompanied by the final version of the abstract (which will be published with the essay) and a short autobiographical note. Artwork should be submitted in tif or jpg formats 300 dpi. Bibliographical references and captions for illustrations must follow the format outlined in the journal's Style Sheet.
