Admissions

Students seeking admission to the Program must submit a completed application form, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts from previous colleges or universities attended, and GRE scores. The Admissions Committee may admit students with applications missing a nondegree-bearing transcript or one letter of recommendation, but ordinarily with the understanding that satisfactory documents be provided within the first year of study at The Graduate Center. Incoming students are normally expected to have previous production courses or experience and, when this is not the case, they may be requested to take production courses at one of the constituent colleges to fulfill this requirement. For those seeking financial aid the deadline for applications is January 15.
