program reports for National Association for the Education of Young Children/NCATE review for 
the following programs: a) Dual (Initial) Certification Program in Teaching Children With Disabilities 
in Early Childhood/Early  Childhood Education. b) Initial Certification Program in Early Childhood
 Education, c) MS in Education Programs in Early Childhood Education – Professional Certificate 
in Early Childhood Education (birth-grade 2); Initial and Professional Certificates in Early Childhood
 Education. 

2. Undergraduate Curriculum Preparation Sept. 2000 - May 2000

• Prepared and wrote new undergraduate dual certification program: Teaching Children With
 Disabilities in Early Childhood / Early Childhood Education (birth–grade 2). This program leads 
to NYS Dual Certification: Early Childhood & Early Childhood Special Education.

• Prepared and wrote new undergraduate program: Early Childhood Education (birth-grade 2). 
This program leads to NYS Certification: Early Childhood Education Teacher.

• Prepared all curriculum documents for both undergraduate programs: Early Childhood Education 
(birth-grade 2), and Teaching Children With Disabilities in Early Childhood / Early Childhood 
Education (birth–grade 2) for submission to the curriculum committees of the School of Education 
and of the Faculty Council Curriculum Committee (undergraduate). Prepared all documents for 
submission to the NYS Dept. of Education.

• Prepared the following undergraduate courses: 
Education 37.11 Development of Language and Literacy in Young Children: General and Special Ed.
Education 39 Early Education and Care of Infants and Toddlers: General and Special Education

3. Graduate Curriculum Preparation Sept. 2000 - May 2000

a) Significantly revised the Graduate Program in Early Childhood Education. Program now offers
 three strands: one strand (30 credits) for students certified to teach early childhood education; 
one strand (33 credits) for students certified to teach childhood education or special subjects; 
one strand (45 credits) for students who do not hold teacher certification. 

• Prepared all graduate curriculum documents for submission to the curriculum committees 
of the School of Education and of the Faculty Council Curriculum Committee (graduate). 
Prepared all documents for submission to the NYS Dept. of Education.
