 Ø      In January, Shana E Henry presented with MetroMath (www.metromath.org) at the AMTE (Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators) conference in Irvine, CA.  The title of the session was “Alternative Certification in Urban School Districts: the Case of the NYC Teaching Fellows.

 Ø      Congratulations to Samuel E. Jackson for receiving the LSAMP scholarship to begin research on transforming the teaching and learning experiences of African American and minority students through the theoretical framework of co-generative dialogue.

 Ø      In March, Shana E Henry presented with MetroMath at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Research Presession in Atlanta, GA. 

 Ø      Haiwen Chu presented with MetroMath at the AMTE conference and the AERA conference during the Spring 07.
