PROGRAM

The Ph.D. Program in Urban Education seeks to contribute to the improvement of urban education through the research and policy analysis work of its faculty and students. The program emphasizes the study of urban education in its social and cultural contexts and the interdependence between research in schools and communities and the analysis of policy issues.
