Postdoctoral Fellowship Positions

Along with the Director, full-time Staff Psychologist and Outreach Coordinator, the PCAD Center staff also includes two half-time Postdoctoral Fellows. Fellows are appointed on a yearly basis. They are recent graduates of doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology who have completed APA-approved internships and are license-eligible. They are supervised by senior staff as well as by a roster of outside supervisors who are senior psychologists. They contribute as part of our core staff and participate fully in all clinical, outreach and administrative activities of the PCAD Center. To learn more about the Postdoctoral Fellowship positions and procedures for applying, please contact Dr. Daniel Rothenberg, Director, at 212-817-7020.

Predoctoral Fellowship Positions

Our staff also includes 4-5 Predoctoral Fellows who are Doctoral students in Clinical Psychology at City College. The Predoctoral Fellows work one day per week providing short-term psychotherapy to Graduate Center students. Together with our core staff, they co-lead workshops through our action and Mastery program. As part of their training, they also participate in staff-run case conferences and reading seminars, and are supervised by senior staff and our outside supervisors.

Supervision

Our Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellows are supervised by a group of approximately thirty senior clinicians who give their time to meet weekly with their supervisee on an individual basis. All of our supervisors are licensed clinical psychologists or psychiatrists, and most are also graduates of advanced training programs in psychotherapy.
