Sandy Warshaw, is a spokesperson for the Older
Women's League. Since 1987 she has appeared on countless television and
radio programs to discuss the problems of ageism, sexism and homophobia
in American society and their effect on middle aged and older women.
Since 1996, Warshaw has served on the board of Congregation Bet Simchat
Torah (CBST), New York's only lesbian and gay synagogue. She also organizes
CBST's feminist programming and participates in the Lesbians 50+ group.
Warhsaw also serves on the board of the World Congress for Gay and Lesbian
Jewish Organizations.
