Annie Ellman, is the Executive Director of
The Center of Anti-Violence Education. The Center offers support and self-defense
training for women in Brooklyn. As an activist for over twenty-five years,
Ms. Ellman co-founded the Center, originally named the Brooklyn Women's
Martial Arts in 1974.
