Iesha Sekou received her B.A. from Bethune-Cookman
College. Although she has been involved in adult education work since 1980,
Ms. Sekou has filled other activist roles including experience running
a Manhattan women's shelter. Currently Iesha Sekou is the Education Coordinator
at BEGIN/ Literacy Partners, a program dedicated to education for employment.
