David Rompf's essays and stories have appeared in Harvard Review, Missouri Review, Creative Nonfiction, Under the Sun, Berkeley Fiction Review and many other publications. One of his recent essays was selected as a "Notable Essay of the Year" by the Best American Essays series. He has also published travel articles and book reviews in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, Philadelphia Inquirer, and several other newspapers and magazines. His most recent essay in The Los Angeles Times Op-Ed page was originally submitted to The Writers' Institute in fall 2007.
Michael Rymer holds a B.A. in comparative literature from Brown University and an M.F.A. in nonfiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College. He has contributed to publications including the Village Voice, Hyphen Magazine, Flak Magazine, Sarah Lawrence Magazine, Inthefray Magazine, Folk Art Messenger, and Mr. Beller's Neighborhood. His first feature article in Village Voice was originally submitted to The Writers' Institute in fall 2007.
Nathan Thrall has written on culture, U.S. foreign policy, and Middle Eastern politics for Commentary, The Jerusalem Post, and the Middle East Review of International Affairs.
